Father's Day Gift Idea - Sheaffer Ferrari Pens Giveaway

Father's Day Gift Idea - Ted Baker M

Hey Everyone!

Today I am bringing you a fantastic Father's day gift idea for those of you on a tight budget but also want a bit of luxury for your dad.

I've had a cheeky sniff of the fragrance and it's really quite nice, it's not one of those overpowering ones but more of a fresh, woody type of scent that's really wearable during the day or even in the evening as there is a hint of spice from the amber and coriander.

Father's Day Gift Idea - Braun 5040s Shaver

Hey Guys!

Today I am bringing you an exciting installment for my Father's Day gift series in the form of the recently released Braun Series 5 5040S Wet & Dry Shaver*. I was kindly sent a sample to review and will also be looking at a few of the other different models at different price ranges to fit all budgets. 

Firstly let's have a look at what the contents are inside the box:

shaver (with removable protector)

The shaver can be used wet or dry and I've read that foil head lasts around 18 months before needing replacement but that careful cleaning and maintenance can mean they last much longer. That's something to bear in mind to help maximise the potential money saving in switching from disposables and that's not to mention the better quality of a shave a more high end model can offer due to the enhanced technology. 

Now, after some thorough testing I want to share some feedback from my dad:

1. Flexibility- he was a big fan of the pivoting head which allowed for a comfortable but close shave that was more of a fluid motion. It was also good for picking up small hairs or any flat lying hairs that can sometimes be a bit more tricky to get at. 

2. Wet and Dry - he said that's it's great to have the option to use it in the shower as that saves a bit of time if you're in a rush

3. Battery - he thought it was great you can have a full shave on a 5 minute quick charge or 45 minutes on a full 1 hour charge. 

4. Adaptability - he liked the precision trimmer part for sideburns/moustache trimming

I hope you found this useful if you are thinking about investing in a shaver for your dad or any male acquaintance, he had nothing but good things to say about it and I haven't seen him use anything else since, which is very telling for a man of such particular taste.

Father's Day Gift Idea - Thermos

Hey Guys!

I hope you're all having an awesome bank holiday weekend! 

Today I have my next Father's Day Gift Idea installment and we are going to be looking at some really usable and functional gift ideas your dad will hopefully like from Thermos.

First are the food flasks*, these are absolutely perfect to take to work and can keep food hot OR cold! So whether it's fresh fruit or hot pasta or even soup, they will stay at that temperature for up to 7 hours for hot food or 9 hours for cold which means you can prepare stuff in the morning and be safe in the knowledge that the food will be fine for lunchtime or even as a late afternoon snack.

They come in the smaller size above which is 0.47 L or also a larger size which is 0.71 L.

Next are the radiance cool bags, these come in individual, medium, family (image below) and large, and they store anywhere between 6 and 36 cans depending on the size. You place ice packs or freezeboards inside to keep the cans cool, then are set for a nice day out with everything all kept together in a bag with a handy shoulder strap.

Lastly there are the classic Stainless King Flasks which come in matt black, red or blue and in the 1.2 L or 0.47 L sizes. These have an amazing 24 hours hot or cold capacity so you can have tea, coffee, soup or juice and I take mine to places like theme parks or car boot sales to save on money and have my favourite drinks wherever I am. 

I hope you all liked my picks, all of them are super practical and something that anyone can use. My experience with Thermos is that their products are incredibly durable and amazing insulators, and I 100% testify to the high levels of quality.

Father's Day Gift Idea and Giveaway - Steel Series

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a Father's Day gift idea to share with you from SteelSeries which is perfect for the tech loving/gaming dads out there.

This nifty controller means you can take app gaming to a whole other level and it works via wireless bluetooth, powered by two AA batteries so is completely portable for you to use out and about. I've been using mine on the train with my iphone and as an xbox fanatic I love the novelty of having a proper controller.

Father's Day Gift Ideas - Graham & Brown

Hey Guys!

I hope you're all well and having a nice week so far.

Today I am going to be sharing a few home ware themed gift ideas for Father's Day from a fabulous interiors retailer called Graham & Brown.

First up is the Treasured Trinkets Collectables (Small) which retails at £25. The pictures can either be kept as below or swapped out for personal family photos which I thought would be perfect for the living room.

 Next up are two items which I chose to feature after being inspired by the below photo (I'd definitely recommend checking out their Inspiration and Advice section as it gave me so many ideas for stuff I want to do in my house!!).

I love the whole American/industrial apartment vibes that these are giving off.

The Cogsworth Clock* is a really cool eye catching piece that would stand out against any backdrop but is a fully functioning time keeper so practical too.

The NY Type Cushion* is the perfect addition to any sofa or bed with the option to have one or multiple cushions for cool co-ords.

Going Loopies for Ducky

Hey Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you the latest addition to our Frenchies' toy box, the new favourite play thing we have affectionately named Ducky. 

The guys at Feedem were lovely enough to send us a medium mallard loopie* to have a play with and share our thoughts and today's review will be featuring Miley's companion, Frank, who is a huge fan of the talking toy variety.

My first impressions of the duck would be that it's pretty durable and a few weeks of play has had little to no effect on the stitching/general structure of the toy. The picture below will show that they play quite rough so for me I was impressed that the duck is still together and aside from a little grubbiness, which is inevitable, it's in great condition still at this point. Novelty wise the talking aspect went down a storm and the design is also pretty cute so big ticks on those fronts too!

As it stands, I'd say that duck is definitely looking to be the flavour of the month in our household.

Father's Day Gift Idea - G Baldwin & Co Gift Box

Hey Everyone!

Today I want to share a lovely skincare giftbox* that would make a great gift this Father's Day or for any occasion really where you want to have a pamper treat for a man in your life.

First of all, I like the packaging, the brown box and Baldwins ribbon is simple but looks expensive and luxurious. Inside the box it is packed with padding to make sure the goodies arrive all good and well.

Stop By And Smell The Flowers

Hey Guys!

Today I am going to share an outfit of the day, revisiting my ever growing love of floral prints. I feel like it's been a little while since we've done this, so I have a few more outfits planned for the next month to show you all. Woo!

This lovely dress is from Asos Curve but an old collection so unfortunately no longer available however keep your eyes peeled on Ebay because it's a beauty.

I love the flattering black panels which make your middle smaller like some sort of optical illusion. Very sneaky!

I'm also wearing one of my favourite hair bands I picked up at a car boot sale for a tiny one pound! Cute isn't it?
