Stocking Filler Idea - Lalaloopsy Girls

Hey Guys,

I have one last childrens stocking filler idea to share with you in the form of these Lalaloopsy Girls dolls that my little cousin has been going crazy for. These are the latest in the Lalaloopsy series with 4 different varieties to choose from, the one I received below is called Jewel Sparkles* and I understand that she is the most popular one (from the words of a very informative 6 year old).

She comes with a 2 outfits being a princess dress and pyjamas and also has a little pet for company.

Her hair also changes colour from dark pink and baby pink to dark pink and purple which is a pretty cool touch, I remember back in the day when I had a Barbie Doll that did that a similar thing and she was always "the special one" due to her chameleon like superpowers.

These dolls retail for between £20 and £25 from what I can see which I don't think is bad at all for the bits and bobs you get in the set. Definitely a gift to consider for any little girls this Xmas and they are available in most supermarkets so still time to grab one!

I hope you have enjoyed my children's gift ideas, thanks for reading! Love Sally X

Another Fab Stocking Filler Idea - Toca Ink

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to share another quick post on stocking fillers for Christmas, but this one can also be for birthdays or other occasions too as the overall theme isn't in your face Xmas.

Toca Boca have released a product called Toca Ink* in collaboration with the tattoo artist Virginia Elwood and the product is basically a set of 8 temporary tattoo designs inspired by the Toca Boca characters.

One pack of tattoos includes:

1 x Nova from Toca House
1 x T-bot from Toca Train
1 x Walter from Toca Cars
1 x Babe the blue Ox from Toca Kitchen
1 x Blox the Builder
1 x Larry the Lion from Toca Hair Salon 1
2 x Toca Boca logo

The designs below are beyond adorable and I think children would absolutely love them, I think my favourite is Larry the lion from the Toca Hair Salon game.

The set retails at $10 and can be ordered here: http://shop.tocaboca.com/products/toca-ink

Hope this was helpful!

A Fab Stocking Filler Idea - Topps Cards

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to do a quick post on an awesome stocking filler idea for children this year, Topps have a selection of starter packs for their card games and they would be perfect as a cheap little goodie to pop into a stocking for children to play on Christmas Day or you could even do what we used to in my family and give them as a pre-xmas gift on Christmas Eve as a little something to play with.

They have Frozen sets*, which seems to be the big thing this Christmas:

And also in the range are below couple of packs that look fun too!

Moshi Monsters Mash Up Party

Dr Who Regeneration

The packs can be bought online at www.toppsdirect.com or instore using this handy store locator and retail for £4.99 which extra packs of cards/stickers at £1 each.

Thanks for reading, I hope this was a helpful last minute suggestion! Love Sally X

Warren James Jewellery

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a really exciting post to share of literally the most gorgeous gorgeous jewellery pieces I have ever owned. Warren James were kind enough to send me a couple of samples from their Christmas selection so I will be showing you those and also looking at some cracking deals from their website.

So first up let's take a look at what I got, I chose a pendant necklace and a bracelet which arrived in pretty giftboxes so you wouldn't even need to wrap them if you're a wrapping novice like me.

The first item is the Sabrina Heart Necklace* made with Swarovski Elements which is £16 down from £85! There are a couple of colours to choose from but I opted for the rose pink as I just thought it was so pretty and would go well with a lot of my dresses which are often florals and pinks.

Depending on the lighting the stone can look between a rose pink and a slightly darker more dusty pink and is surrounded by pretty little crystals.

As you can see the chain is the perfect length for me and it looks so nice on with even just a plain tshirt like I'm wearing below.

The second piece I chose is the Amelia Real Sterling Silver Diamonflash Cubic Zirconia Bracelet* £49 down from £150! This is such a unique design which has 10 centre piece stones all surrounded by crystals and they also do a matching necklace and earrings

The length is just perfect for my wrist and sits beautifully, it's such a statement piece and looks a lot more expensive than it is.

I also want to share with you a few more top deals on their website at the moment, they are while stocks last so if you see something you like try and snap it up as soon as you can!

The Roweena Real Sterling Silver Diamonflash Cubic Zirconia Bracelet £33 down from £99!

The Priscilla Real Sterling Silver Diamonflash Cubic Zirconia Ring £25 down from £85!

and finally the Amelia Real Sterling Silver Diamonflash Cubic Zirconia Stud Earrings £10 down from £32!

If you would like to check out the wider range of deals you can see the full list on www.warrenjames.co.uk and those of you that are particularly savvy shoppers could even stock up on valentine's gifts which isn't too far away either! I'd highly recommend them, for treats for yourselves or gifts for other people, the quality is great and the prices are just fantastic!

I hope you found this post helpful, let me know if you've bought anything from them this Xmas in the comments below (I'm nosey).

Cosy Winter Knits with Fashion World

Hey Guys!

Today is going to be an outfit post, as you know these are my absolute favourite types of post to do and I have something brand spanking new to show you that I was sent from Fashion World!

I was contacted by the lovely team and offered a pick from their knitwear range for something nice and cosy for this winter. I had actually been eyeing up the item I chose for sometime now so it was an easy choice to go for the wonder that is the Angel Ribbons Kierra Metallic Yarn Intarisa Waterfall Front Cardigan*.

Isn't it pretty?!?!

Now I must tell you that I did choose to size up and was so glad I did as I would say it does run small so would definitely recommend doing this if you're unsure.

Here is how it looks on!

I chose to wear it over a simple black tshirt and leggings for a really laid back weekend look. I can testify that it offers a good amount of warmth and the knit is so soft and cosy.

I love the waterfall design at the front with the tassels and the overall design which has an aztec feel to it which I like especially with the metallic twist.

and you could even wrap it across the front and secure with a brooch to give another option.

Also, I don't know if you lot have seen but Fashion World have a xmas themed app where you upload a photo of yourself and can create your picture of you in a novelty xmas jumper to send to your friends or put on social media. Here is the link if you want to check it out! Merry Knit-mas

I hope you liked this post, let me know what you think of this cardigan below in the comments.

Thanks for reading. Love Sally X

Hobbycraft: Create A Treat Gingerbread House

Hey Guys!

Today is going to be a super fun activity post and I'm sharing a DIY Gingerbread House kit* I was kindly sent by Hobbycraft to attempt to build and show you guys!

Now this is the box and what we are working towards, I'm unsure how close I will be able to get to the design as I'm not quite a decorating whizz but I'm 100% up for giving this a go. I've typed this just before I go outside to start making it so let's see what happens when I get back!

Ok I'm back. I'll now give you the run down of how the events unfolded.

First of all I opened the box, got out all the bits and pieces with high hopes for matching the design on the front. It looks very simple, what could possibly go wrong?!

I lined up my gingerbread pieces

Got my decorations ready

and warmed up the icing by kneading it

then carefully snipping off the top to begin the piping process

you get a base to put all the pieces in to keep it together and form the house

You just need to "glue" with icing the pieces together around the base

to form a pretty cute little house

all you need to do then is pop the roof on

and voila, now on to decorating!

My piping skills are pretty poor, I'm going to throw that out there before you start laughing! I figured I'd take one side at a time, for ease

and it really started to look quite cute!

However, I suffered my first casualty in the side panel to the right

and in trying to fix it, erm, well here is what happened!

Obviously my failure reflects more of my lack of skill than the actual product and I had a really fun time overall putting everything together and decorating all the sweets (not to mention the joy of munching yummy gingerbread and icing afterwards!).

I would totally recommend this as a fun activity with kids before Christmas, it's only a tenner and will provide a good hour or so of entertainment and potentially be a nice table decoration.

Have you guys tried any of these kits before, what did you think? Let me know in the comments below. You can also check out the Hobbycraft Gift section on this link: http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/gifts.
