Hey Everyone!
I hope you're all having a super fun Valentine's Day.
In this post I'm going to be sharing a selection of drinks that I have been trying out from Aldi and letting you know what I thought and hopefully there might be some budget friendly hidden gems!
Firstly let's talk about the Beletti Prosecco*. When I think of prosecco the image that fills my mind is me and my girl friends all in a room getting ready for a night out and having a cheeky couple before we go. It will always be a favourite of mine so I couldn't wait to put this one to the test.
Now I tried this, tested it thoroughly and I can honestly say it's one of the best that I've had despite being one of the cheapest at £4.99 per bottle. It's so deliciously fruity, bubbly and full of flavour and tastiness, an absolute winner for me!
Next is the Toro Loco Tempranillo Superior* which is a red wine.
I'm not a huge red wine drinker, so I'm never sure what to expect when I have it and generally I prefer it with a meal as I feel the tastes just go well together.
In terms of the Toro Loco, I found it a nice light red, one that's very easy to drink and I could really taste the flavours of the strawberries, redcurrants and black cherries. I would definitely have it again, either with a meal again or a glass on it's own while curled up on the sofa watching a dvd. For £3.49 per bottle it really surpassed my expectations!
Finally we have the Bellucci Amaretto Liqueur*.
This was completely different to the other two drinks, the taste of this one is lovely and sweet and almondy. It is the perfect partner to maybe some chocolate truffles or something along the lines of a dessert. Also, I was looking at recipe ideas and I think this would be perfect in things like chocolate puddings, cakes or cocktails and I put a shot in my daily hot chocolate just to see what it would be like and it tasted so good so would definitely recommend giving that a go. The price is a snip at £4.29 per bottle so a really affordable option.
I (hugely) enjoyed trying out these drinks and writing this review, if you would like to try any yourself head in to your local Aldi or pop online to www.aldi.co.uk and you can see the full selection.
Let me know your favourite Aldi products below, do you guys have any hidden gems I can look out for?
