Father's Day Gift Idea - House of Fraser

Hi Everyone!

I hope your weekends have been fun.

Today is the latest in my Father's Day gift ideas series and today we are looking at options from House of Fraser. Father's Day Gift Idea - Ted Baker M

Hey Everyone!

Today I am bringing you a fantastic Father's day gift idea for those of you on a tight budget but also want a bit of luxury for your dad.

I've had a cheeky sniff of the fragrance and it's really quite nice, it's not one of those overpowering ones but more of a fresh, woody type of scent that's really wearable during the day or even in the evening as there is a hint of spice from the amber and coriander.

Father's Day Gift Idea - Thermos

Hey Guys!

I hope you're all having an awesome bank holiday weekend! 

Today I have my next Father's Day Gift Idea installment and we are going to be looking at some really usable and functional gift ideas your dad will hopefully like from Thermos.

First are the food flasks*, these are absolutely perfect to take to work and can keep food hot OR cold! So whether it's fresh fruit or hot pasta or even soup, they will stay at that temperature for up to 7 hours for hot food or 9 hours for cold which means you can prepare stuff in the morning and be safe in the knowledge that the food will be fine for lunchtime or even as a late afternoon snack.

They come in the smaller size above which is 0.47 L or also a larger size which is 0.71 L.

Next are the radiance cool bags, these come in individual, medium, family (image below) and large, and they store anywhere between 6 and 36 cans depending on the size. You place ice packs or freezeboards inside to keep the cans cool, then are set for a nice day out with everything all kept together in a bag with a handy shoulder strap.

Lastly there are the classic Stainless King Flasks which come in matt black, red or blue and in the 1.2 L or 0.47 L sizes. These have an amazing 24 hours hot or cold capacity so you can have tea, coffee, soup or juice and I take mine to places like theme parks or car boot sales to save on money and have my favourite drinks wherever I am.

Father's Day Gift Idea and Giveaway - Steel Series

Hey Everyone!

Today I have a Father's Day gift idea to share with you from SteelSeries which is perfect for the tech loving/gaming dads out there.

Father's Day Gift Ideas - From You To Me

Hey Everyone!

Today I have an exciting mini review and giveaway to share with you in preparation for Father's Day next month. 

I was kindly sent a pair of books by From You To Me and the concepts are that a child and their father can fill in these interactive books together, sharing memories, feelings and ultimately connecting and understanding each other. It's such an adorable idea in my opinion.

In Dad & Me* each part of the book is in two, orange for the child and blue for the dad and they fill in their own thoughts and feelings which they share afterwards in a way which they agree on. 

Dear Dad* is a little bit different, this book is something to give to the father to fill in and is a fantastic way to for them to share their own life stories and create a really special book the child can keep forever.

I think the concepts of these books are fantastic and would make brilliant gifts for a child to give their father on Father's Day. Father's Day Gift Guide

Hey Everyone!

So Father's Day is very quickly approaching and I am going to share with you some cracking gifts recommended to me when I did a Twitter shoutout for ideas (I wouldn't even know where to start). There are a few different price points and types of gifts, so this should hopefully give you some ideas at least. 

First we have these gorgeous, brightly coloured classic mugs from Herdy. They are bone china and handmade/hand decorated in England's Staffordshire Potteries. They retail at a grand price of £11 and would make a lovely gift. I would fill them up with my dad's favourite sweets and wrap them in cellophane with a ribbon for cute wrapping suggestion. 

Next up is the men's Shampoo and Conditioner from www.hairyjaynehandmade.co.uk. The shampoo is sulfate free and both have been handmade with natural ingredients and fragranced with essential oils. They are perfect for deep cleaning the hair and re-strengthening it, both retail at £10 each for 250ml of product. These would make a great practical gift and are perfect for weaker hair which comes with age (or so I'm told!).

Then we have The Vintage Sayings Mugs from Jin Designs. These add a bit of humour with sayings like "no spring chicken" and "seen better days" and all are hand decorated fine bone china. The RRP is £12 each or you can get the set of 4 for £40, they also have matching tea towels for £10 each. I like that these are a cheeky twist on a classic, good quality mug, a simple practical and useful.

Next up is a luxury experience which you can share with your dad, a lovely afternoon tea at the Milestone Hotel opposite Kensington Palace in London. 

I have included the description from the hotel for your perusal!

Open to both ladies and gentlemen, the afternoon tea will incorporate mostly savoury items popular with the palates of men. What’s more, tea can be served with Ale or Whisky Flight options.

Favourites such as mini home made pork pies, mini Cornish pasties and mini toad in the hole have been created to satisfy the generous appetites of the busy Gentleman. For those wanting a more ‘manly’ scone, maple-cured bacon scones will be served with truffle butter in addition to the traditional scones with clotted cream and preserve.

Finger sandwiches are filled with rare sirloin beef and horseradish, honey roast ham and English mustard and cream cheese and smoked salmon.

The sweet tooth has not been forsaken but combined with tantalising liquors such as cupcakes with whisky cream cheese frosting, brandy soaked berries tart and chocolate and orange liqueur torte.

The experiences range between £39.50 and £59.50 which I think is pretty good for some really tasty food in a nice setting.

Now finally we have a really cool little product called Black & White wax, it has quite a celebrity following (James Dean, Johnny Depp and ELVIS to name a few). It is a styling/sculpting wax that is pretty versatile, you can either have a long lasting all day look or it's remouldable properties let you change up your style throughout the day. 

Also women can use it too, the PR was kind enough to send me a sample which I will review separately for you, I am hoping to recreate some gorgeous Marilyn Monroe waves so keep an eye out for that. This product is the cheapest in the guide and comes in at £4.99 for 50ml which is pretty reasonable.
