Father's Day Gift Ideas - Graham & Brown

Hey Guys!

I hope you're all well and having a nice week so far.

Today I am going to be sharing a few home ware themed gift ideas for Father's Day from a fabulous interiors retailer called Graham & Brown.

First up is the Treasured Trinkets Collectables (Small) which retails at £25. The pictures can either be kept as below or swapped out for personal family photos which I thought would be perfect for the living room.

Next up are two items which I chose to feature after being inspired by the below photo (I'd definitely recommend checking out their Inspiration and Advice section as it gave me so many ideas for stuff I want to do in my house!!).

I love the whole American/industrial apartment vibes that these are giving off.

The Cogsworth Clock* is a really cool eye catching piece that would stand out against any backdrop but is a fully functioning time keeper so practical too.

The NY Type Cushion* is the perfect addition to any sofa or bed with the option to have one or multiple cushions for cool co-ords.

Finally I had to feature the Map canvas which I have taken quite the liking to, it would be great for anyone into travel or geography or just into general vintage inspired wall art and is currently on sale down to £15.

I hope you liked these picks and they give you some ideas for Father's Day. You can check out the full range on https://www.grahambrown.com/uk and there are some great deals and unique pieces to be found so have a browse.

Thanks for reading!

Going Loopies for Ducky

Hey Everyone!

Today I wanted to share with you the latest addition to our Frenchies' toy box, the new favourite play thing we have affectionately named Ducky.

The guys at Feedem were lovely enough to send us a medium mallard loopie* to have a play with and share our thoughts and today's review will be featuring Miley's companion, Frank, who is a huge fan of the talking toy variety.

My first impressions of the duck would be that it's pretty durable and a few weeks of play has had little to no effect on the stitching/general structure of the toy. The picture below will show that they play quite rough so for me I was impressed that the duck is still together and aside from a little grubbiness, which is inevitable, it's in great condition still at this point. Novelty wise the talking aspect went down a storm and the design is also pretty cute so big ticks on those fronts too!

As it stands, I'd say that duck is definitely looking to be the flavour of the month in our household.

If you would like to, you can check out the full range of Loopies on the Feedem website, I think I might need to get the rooster next but there are a few different designs to pick from alongside a whole array of toys and other products.

I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for reading.

Father's Day Gift Idea - G Baldwin & Co Gift Box

Hey Everyone!

Today I want to share a lovely skincare giftbox* that would make a great gift this Father's Day or for any occasion really where you want to have a pamper treat for a man in your life.

Baldwins were kind enough to send me a sample set to share with you guys and here are my thoughts!

First of all, I like the packaging, the brown box and Baldwins ribbon is simple but looks expensive and luxurious. Inside the box it is packed with padding to make sure the goodies arrive all good and well.

The items inside the box are as follows and the set retails at a reasonable £34.99 :

I had a cheeky sniff of the scrub before I handed the box over to my dad as an early present, and it smelt divine, really fresh and invigorating. I think the set is a really good gift idea, it's a reasonable price and the products go really well with each other as a skincare routine.

If you would like to check out the range at Baldwins, head on over to their website which is  http://www.baldwins.co.uk/ for a nosey around as they have some great options.

Thanks for reading, I hope you found this a helpful suggestion.

Stop By And Smell The Flowers

Hey Guys!

Today I am going to share an outfit of the day, revisiting my ever growing love of floral prints. I feel like it's been a little while since we've done this, so I have a few more outfits planned for the next month to show you all. Woo!

This lovely dress is from Asos Curve but an old collection so unfortunately no longer available however keep your eyes peeled on Ebay because it's a beauty.

I love the flattering black panels which make your middle smaller like some sort of optical illusion. Very sneaky!

I'm also wearing one of my favourite hair bands I picked up at a car boot sale for a tiny one pound! Cute isn't it?

I hope you liked this outfit, let me know your thoughts below and I look forward to speaking to you in my next post.

Thanks for reading. Love Sally X

Aldi Dog Hamper Review

Hey Everyone!

Following on from Miley's recent debut on the blog, we are both back today to review this awesome hamper of treats kindly sent to us by Aldi to try out and share with you.

The hamper contains a mixture of wet foods and treats, all at a fantastic budget price and easily accessible in your nearest Aldi store.

As you can see Miley was super excited when our delivery arrived, this is her "What's this" expression.

Here is the product breakdown and prices (which I'm sure you'll agree are a steal!):

Earls Gravy Bones* - 95p
Earls Tasty Cuts Gravy Selection Pouches* - £1.89
Earls Meaty Strips* - 75p
Earls Minty Dental Sticks* - 59p
Earls Meaty Chunks* - 35p
Earls Supermeat* - 35p

I put out a taster plate of a few treats for the four of them to enjoy (all of these for Miley would be a little excessive!!). Within seconds they were all snatched and ran off with and quickly gobbled up. I'd say their favourites were the meaty strips which are a much cheaper substitute for the ones I usually give them so 100% something I will purchase in the future.

She then had a go at the meaty chunks which I thought were good, a really high ratio of meat vs jelly as sometimes with cheaper options you find the opposite so I was suitably impressed.

As was this little lady!

We also tried out the gravy pouches, which I would say were more Sadie's favourite, Miley was very biased towards the meaty chunks above but I think it's just personal preference. The four of them all sway either towards the gravy consistency or the jelly and I can safely say that all of the products we tried went down a storm across my four little judges.

I am really happy with everything in the hamper and if you want to try out any items for your own dogs you can view the full list of products in the range here. You can also find your nearest store using this Store Locator

I hope you enjoyed this post and leave me a comment below if you want to see more pet themed posts.

Thanks for reading.

Father's Day Gift Ideas - From You To Me

Hey Everyone!
Today I have an exciting mini review and giveaway to share with you in preparation for Father's Day next month.

I was kindly sent a pair of books by From You To Me and the concepts are that a child and their father can fill in these interactive books together, sharing memories, feelings and ultimately connecting and understanding each other. It's such an adorable idea in my opinion.

In Dad & Me* each part of the book is in two, orange for the child and blue for the dad and they fill in their own thoughts and feelings which they share afterwards in a way which they agree on.

Dear Dad* is a little bit different, this book is something to give to the father to fill in and is a fantastic way to for them to share their own life stories and create a really special book the child can keep forever.

I think the concepts of these books are fantastic and would make brilliant gifts for a child to give their father on Father's Day. The team over at From You To Me were kind enough to agree to give away one set of the two books below to a lucky reader! All you need to do is fill in the rafflecopter form and keep your fingers crossed until the winner is announced after the giveaway ends on the 31st May.

Thanks for reading and good luck in the giveaway!

Love Sally X
