Today I'm doing a bit of a different blog post from what you normally see on The Human Mannequin, I'm going to be talking about a sleep tracker called S+
What is it? The S+ by ResMed* is the world’s first non-contact, fully comprehensive sleep tracking system. ResMed have spent more than 10 years developing this product and in the process analysed more 2 million nights of sleep and has been rigorously tested in 10 published clinical studies.
How does it work? By measuring your breathing and physical movements, however you don't have to wear anything or have anything touching you! Instead, using bluetooth signals sends the information to your phone or tablet, you will need to download the app available on both iPhone and Android.
What will it do? You’ll receive tailored feedback from S+ by ResMed after just your first night’s sleep using the product, along with tips on improving sleep conditions in your bedroom. It has some other cools features too; you can record the things you need to do tomorrow, set a smart alarm, and have sounds to helps you fall asleep more easily.
My thoughts on the S+ by ResMed: I was quite surprised by how versatile this product is! I initially thought this product would only be useful for people who struggle sleeping but after trying this out I was wrong!
Even if you manage to sleep fine already this can help improve your quality sleep and wake up feeling very refreshed and ready to embrace the new day. I think this product would make a thoughtful present for a loved one, and with Mother's Day coming soon it could be perfect!
The app I found very easy to navigate and quite self explanatory. My favourite feature of this product is definitely the Smart Alarm and something I now use everyday. Smart Alarm aims to gently wake you from light sleep close to when you need to be up, helping you feel more refreshed. You choose a time window that suits you and S+ by ResMed Smart Alarm will do just that. (If you don’t reach light sleep within the time window, Smart Alarm will wake you at your desired time.)
